Finals
A slightly dissapointing performance from Wymondham in the finals which saw them only finish third in there group with Warren Heath from Essex combforatbly winning the group. The first session was against the favourites from the group Warren Heath, which Wymondham knew they would have to get at least a draw out of if they were to give themeselves a chance in the next two games. The first groups to go on both lost in the pairs Deb and Chris lost 6-13 to Barry and Babs and Pat, Brain and Steve likewise lost 5-13. Chris played well in the singles to draw against Barry and Pat, Brain, Steve and Deb also did well to win. But this as they found out was not enough even when in there next game they beat Cuaco. Chris had his best match of the day in the singles winning 14-4 and had played well with Deb in the pairs winning 14-5. The fours also won 5-3. The last game against Templecombe was a close encounter where the singles and fours were concerned, but yet again the triples were Wymondham's downfall as they did not win a single game. Both the singles and fours were well up in the early stages but knowing that even if they had of one all the games against them still would not have been enough as Warren Heath had beaten Cuaco.
